there is always something to weed
Will I have to buy vegetables I don't want?
no, of course not
How do I order?
I update my list of available products regularly.
Please, when you place your order include your preferred pickup day and time in the comment box at the bottom of the order page, I will confirm as soon as I get your order.
If you do not add a pickup time, I will have your order ready as preset on Friday afternoon.
You can order right here on my duluthcottagekitchen.locallygrown.net.
Ordering through my web market is my preferred method as it is designed to reduce the amount of time it takes me to process orders as well as provide you with detailed information about my products.
In a “vegetable emergency” you can always call, text or email me and we work something out.
When do I pay?
I accept credit card payment when you place your order and cash or card payment at pick up.
When do I pick up my order?
this software is a little rigid and does not allow you to change the preset pickup time,
to let me know your preferred day and time to pick up,
please use the comment box on the order page, I will text you a confirmation, as soon as I get your order
If you have a real veggie emergency while I am home, you can come by on short notice, please keep in mind, picked in the cooler morning hours your veggies will be plump and juicy and keep longer then picked in the afternoon sun, when they are suffering from heat stress
as long as Suwanee Farmers Market is open (mid of September) there will be no pickup on Saturdays
as soon as Gwinnett court is in session no pickup on Wednesdays as I suffer the honor to serve grand jury
Why Support Locally Grown?
Enhance your local economy: By purchasing produce and other items from local growers you are providing stability to your local economy through the support of local businesses.
Save natural resources: Buying locally makes you an invaluable link in the process of saving resources such as fossil fuels and packaging materials. Also, we are right here in your community so the expense of transportation and delivery is kept to a minimum.
Provide learning opportunities: Locally Grown supporters provide member growers the means to help educate our community about the importance of sustainable agriculture.
Supporting a way of life: The number of small farms in the United States has decreased dramatically in the last decade. Please help us preserve an honest and worthy means of making a living.
We believe that small, diverse, family-owned farms contribute to society’s overall health.
